How to Recover Missing Google Reviews

Sometimes Google reviews disappear due to spam filtering. If this happens, you can submit a request to Google to restore them.

Step 1: Log into Your Google Business Profile

Make sure you are logged in with the email that manages your business profile.


Step 2: Go to Google Business Support

Visit:

Scroll down and click Contact Us.


Step 3: Select Your Business

Choose the Google Business Profile that is missing reviews.


Step 4: Select "Missing Reviews"

Choose the Missing Reviews issue category and continue.


Step 5: Submit the Support Form

Fill out the form with the following information:

  • Your name

  • Phone number

  • Relationship to the business

  • Business name

  • Business address

  • Business Profile ID


How to Find Your Business Profile ID

  1. Open your Google Business Profile

  2. Click the three dots

  3. Select Business Profile Settings

  4. Click Advanced Settings

  5. Copy the Profile ID

Paste this into the support form.


Step 6: Provide Additional Details

Google will ask:

  • How many reviews are missing

  • Whether new reviews are still appearing

  • When the issue started

You should also include reviewer names if possible.


Step 7: Submit and Wait

Submit the form and wait for Google's response.

Response times vary:

  • Some cases are resolved within 24 hours

  • Others can take several weeks

If nothing happens after 10 business days, submit another request.


Why Reviews Sometimes Disappear

Google's filters may remove reviews if they suspect:

  • Fake accounts

  • Suspicious activity

  • Spam patterns

  • Newly created Gmail accounts leaving reviews
