How to Get More Google Reviews with Review Harvest

Review Harvest helps you automatically request reviews from customers, respond to positive reviews, and showcase them on your website and social media. This guide walks through how the platform works and how to start getting more Google reviews.

Step 1: Add Your Customer Contacts

To begin collecting reviews, you first need to add your customer contacts.

You can add contacts in two ways:

Option 1: Upload a CSV

  1. Go to the Contacts page

  2. Click Upload CSV

  3. Upload your customer list

Option 2: Connect an Integration

  1. Go to Integrations

  2. Connect your CRM or system

  3. Customer contacts will automatically sync

Most businesses get 10–15% of past customers to leave reviews through this process of doing a review reactivation to all their previous customers.


Step 2: Send Review Requests Automatically

Once contacts are added, Review Harvest sends automated review requests.

The system uses Smart Messaging, which means:

  • Proven scripts are used

  • Follow-ups are automated

  • Messages are sent at optimal times

Step 3: Customize Your Review Requests

You can personalize your review requests.

To do this:

  1. Upload a photo of yourself or your team

  2. The system will automatically insert the customer’s name

Step 4: Adjust Review Request Timing

You can control when review requests are sent.

  1. Go to Request Scheduling

  2. Choose how long to wait after a job is completed

  3. Adjust the number of follow-ups


Step 5: Manage Contacts

Inside the Contacts tab you can:

  • View all customers

  • See which stage they are in

  • Track review request progress

  • Mark customers as Do Not Contact


Step 6: Automatic Review Responses

Review Harvest automatically responds to 4-star and 5-star reviews, saving you time while maintaining engagement with customers.


Step 7: Display Reviews on Your Website

You can embed review widgets on your website.

Available widgets include:

Popup Widget
Displays recent reviews in the corner of your website.

Carousel Widget
Rotates through your reviews on your homepage.

Grid Widget
Displays a full list of reviews on a review page.

If you have a website manager, simply enter their email and they’ll receive instructions.


Step 8: Automatically Post Reviews to Social Media

Review Harvest can also automatically post reviews to:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

This turns your customer feedback into social media content automatically.
