✅ Step 1: Complete Your Onboarding Checklist
Once you log into dash.reviewharvest.com, you’ll see a checklist with three key steps:
Create your Housecall Pro integration
Add a personalized brand image
Launch a review reactivation campaign
Let’s go through each one.
🖼️ Step 2: Add Your Personalized Image
This image is sent with every review request and helps boost brand recognition and response rates.
Go to the Messaging page in Review Harvest.
Click “Change Image.”
Upload a team photo, logo, or any image that customers will recognize.
Review Harvest will automatically overlay each customer’s name on the image in texts and emails.
📸 Pro Tip: A smiling face or photo on the Job dramatically increases review response rates.
🔄 Step 3: Integrate Housecall Pro Using Zapier
⚠️ You must be on at least the Essentials Plan in Housecall Pro.
1. Get Your Housecall Pro API Key
Log in to Housecall Pro.
Click the 9-dot "My Apps" menu in the top-right corner.
Click “Go to App Store.”
Search for Zapier, and click View.
Turn it on (toggle to active).
Refresh the page to generate your API Key.
Copy the API Key (you’ll need it in Zapier).
2. Create a Zap in Zapier
Go to zapier.com and sign up or log in.
Click “Create Zap.”
Set the Trigger App as Housecall Pro.
Choose Trigger Event: “New Job Completed.”
Connect your Housecall Pro account using the API Key.
Test the trigger to confirm Zapier pulls in recent completed job data.
3. Set the Action to Review Harvest
For the Action App, choose Review Harvest.
Go back to dash.reviewharvest.com, sign in, and:
Go to Integrations
Click “Add Integration”
Select Zapier
Copy the Review Harvest API Key
Return to Zapier and paste the API key to connect your account.
Choose the action “Send Review Request.”
4. Map Your Fields
Match the Housecall Pro fields with Review Harvest’s system:

If your data has a single "Full Name" column, Review Harvest will split it for you.
Click “Continue”, test the action, and you’ll see a sample contact appear in Review Harvest.
Click “Publish Zap.” Done!
📥 Step 4: Launch Review Reactivation Campaign
This feature lets you upload a list of past customers who never left a review.
1. Export Customer List from Housecall Pro
Log in to Housecall Pro.
Click “Customers” in the left-hand sidebar.
Review and confirm the list contains all your customers.
Click Export — Housecall Pro will email you a CSV file.
Download the file from your email.
2. Upload the List into Review Harvest
Go to dash.reviewharvest.com and sign in.
Click “Add Contacts”.
Click “Select a File” and upload the CSV file from Housecall Pro.
Map the fields correctly just like in the Zapier setup:
First Name → First Name
Last Name → Last Name
Email → Email
Phone Number → Mobile Phone
Click “Upload Clients.”
Review Harvest will begin dripping out review requests about 1 hour after upload.
🙅 Step 5: Exclude Specific Customers (Optional)
To make sure certain contacts don’t get review requests:
Go to your contact list in Review Harvest.
Search for the contact name.
Click the three dots next to their name.
Choose “Do Not Contact.”
🔒 “Do Not Contact” = blocks all future review messages.
🗑️ “Delete Contact” = removes them now but doesn’t prevent future uploads.
🎉 You’re Done!
Now your Review Harvest account is fully set up:
Personalized messages are ready
Integration is live with Housecall Pro
Your past customers are being reactivated
