🔁 Overview
Markate → Zapier → Review Harvest
Whenever a work order is marked complete in Markate, that customer’s info will automatically be sent to Review Harvest, which will send them a personalized review request and follow-up sequence.
🚀 Step 1: Create or Log In to Your Review Harvest Account
Go to onboarding.re.com and create your account.
Once inside your dashboard, go to Integrations.
Click Add Integration, then choose Zapier.
Click "I have required consent" and then "Create Zapier Integration" to receive your Review Harvest API Key. Keep this handy.
🔌 Step 2: Enable Zapier in Markate
Log into your Markate dashboard.
Go to More → Connectors.
Scroll down and Enable Zapier (Markate charges $10/month for this).
Click Manage, then:
Accept the Zapier invite link
Copy your Markate API key
⚙️ Step 3: Build the Zap in Zapier
Go to Zapier.com and log in.
Click Create Zap
Set up your Trigger:
App: Markate (Invite-only; should appear once you've accepted the invite)
Event: Work Order Completed (recommended) or Invoice Paid
Account: Connect your Markate account using the API key from earlier
Pull in test data (or skip if you’re new)
💬 Step 4: Set the Action – Send Review Request via Review Harvest
For the Action App, search and select Review Harvest
Event: Send Review Request
Connect your Review Harvest account using your API Key
Map the following fields:
Mobile Phone →
Business Customer Phone
First Name →
Business Customer First Name
Last Name →
Business Customer Last Name
Email →
Business Customer Email
(optional, if available)
⚠️ These fields are dynamic – they’ll update automatically for each new job.
Test your Zap.
Name your Zap (e.g., Markate to Review Harvest) and Publish It.
🔁 Optional: Upload Past Customers (Review Reactivation)
If you have a list of past customers in Markate:
Go to Markate → Sales → Customers
Export the customer list as a CSV
Go to Review Harvest → Contacts → Add Contacts
Upload your CSV and map the columns:
First Name
Last Name
Mobile Phone
Email
✅ Confirm consent when uploading.
🚫 Use the Do Not Contact List for customers you don’t want to reach out to.
🧠 Smart Messaging Setup
Go to Messaging tab
Upload a personalized image (your face, crew, wrapped truck, etc.)
Confirm your:
Owner First Name
Business Name (use your actual business name—not keyword stuffed)
Keep Smart Messaging Optimization turned ON
→ Gives the best review conversion rates based on proven timing & follow-up sequences
⏱️ Request Scheduling
Go to Request Scheduling in Review Harvest
Set how long after a job is completed to send the review request
Right away = best conversion rate
Or delay 1–2 days if your customer needs time to experience the finished work
Default follow-up cadence is 3 messages (recommended sweet spot)

Review Harvest will respond to all 4- and 5-star reviews on your behalf
Toggle this ON in the Reviews tab
💻 Review Widgets
Floating Pop-up Widget: Displays real-time reviews across your website
Carousel Widget: Embed reviews in a specific section of your site
